My Story
Before discovering her passion for hairstyling, Annik spent six years working in the mortgage industry — a career built on structure, connection, and hard work. But when she became pregnant with her first daughter, she decided to take a step back and dedicate her time to motherhood, planning to return after that first year.
When that year came and went, something inside her shifted. She realized she didn’t want to go back to the corporate world — and as fate would have it, the company she’d once worked for closed less than a year later. That unexpected turn gave her the freedom to explore what truly made her happy.
During those quiet months at home, she began experimenting with hair — braiding, twisting, and creating new styles on her friends, family, and her daughter. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into a genuine passion. Self-taught at first, she soon began assisting with weddings and events, where she met and trained under one of Orange County’s most talented bridal stylists. That mentorship opened the door to a new world of high-end styling and refined technique.
Three years later, she has built an incredible reputation across the California coast as a bridal hairstylist known for her calm presence, attention to detail, and effortlessly romantic style.
After recently taking time off to welcome her second child, she’s already back doing what she loves most — helping brides and families feel beautiful, confident, and completely themselves on their most important days.
